Terms of Service

Plain language
You agree to use Stratum lawfully, with valid Bitfinex API keys you own, on funds you legally control. We're a tool — you're responsible for outcomes.

1. Use of the service

You may use Stratum to automate funding offers on your own Bitfinex account. You may not use Stratum to manage funds you don't legally control, to facilitate sanctions evasion, or in jurisdictions where margin lending is prohibited. We may suspend service for breach with reasonable notice.

Plain language
You pay the monthly fee in advance. We don't take a cut of your earnings. Refunds are case-by-case.

2. Fees and billing

Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance through our payment processor. Each tier includes a deployed-capital guideline; if you exceed it we may prompt you to upgrade, and we never auto-upgrade or take a percentage of your earnings. Refunds are issued case-by-case for service issues attributable to us.

Plain language
We're an automation layer. We don't custody funds, give investment advice, or guarantee returns. You bear market risk.

3. No advisory relationship

Stratum is software. We do not custody your funds, hold them in escrow, or have authority to move them. We do not provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Strategy outputs are not recommendations. Backtests are historical and not predictive. You bear market, credit, counterparty, and platform risk.

Plain language
Cancel anytime. Because we're non-custodial, your funds never depend on us, and you can export your records whenever you want.

4. Termination & wind-down

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Stratum is non-custodial, so your funds always remain in your Bitfinex account regardless of our status. You can export every loan, offer, and ledger entry at any time. On account closure we deactivate access immediately, cancel your open offers, and disconnect your API keys; we retain encrypted records until you request erasure, except those we are required to keep.
