Pricing questions
Is the price really a flat fee, with no percentage cut of my earnings?
Yes. You pay a fixed $9, $29, or $99 per month, and Stratum never takes a percentage of the interest you earn. Your Bitfinex funding payments land in your own Bitfinex wallet — Stratum is non-custodial and never touches your balance. Because the fee is flat, the more you lend the cheaper Stratum gets as a share of your returns, the opposite of a performance-fee tool that scales its cut with your success.
What do the $9, $29, and $99 plans include?
Every plan gets the full engine: all 11 backtested strategies (Simple FRR, FRR Offset, Rate Spread, Maturity Ladder, Spike Catcher, Adaptive Spread, Yield Curve, Rate Ladder, Adaptive Carry, and more), backtests, paper mode, ledger-correct earnings reports, and tax/CSV exports. Higher tiers add more deployed-capital headroom, faster repricing cadence, more Bitfinex API keys, API access, webhook alerts, and faster support. No strategy or core feature is locked behind a higher plan.
Are there capital limits per plan?
Each plan has a soft cap on deployed capital — the total funding Stratum manages on your behalf. Starter covers up to $25,000, Pro up to $250,000, and Whale is unlimited. The cap is on capital under management, not a fee on it; if you outgrow a tier you just move up to the next flat monthly price. Enterprise plans are sized to your AUM on request.
Is there a free trial or a way to test before paying?
Yes. Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial, and you can run backtests and paper mode (a live-rate simulation that places no real offers) before you connect real funds. That lets you watch a strategy place and reprice offers against real Bitfinex rates without risking capital, so you can confirm it behaves the way you expect before going live.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans are month-to-month with no contract or lock-in — cancel anytime from your billing settings and you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. Because Stratum is non-custodial, your funds always stay in your Bitfinex account, so cancelling never strands any capital. You can also revoke the scoped Bitfinex API key at any time to fully disconnect.
Do you take a cut of my funding earnings or charge withdrawal fees?
No. Stratum charges only the flat monthly subscription. There is no performance fee, no spread, no markup on your rates, and no withdrawal fee — Stratum cannot move money because the API keys you connect have WITHDRAW disabled. Interest paid by Bitfinex borrowers settles entirely to your own funding wallet, and you keep 100% of it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Subscriptions are billed in USD by card through our payment processor. The monthly fee is for the Stratum software only and is completely separate from your Bitfinex funding — you fund and withdraw on Bitfinex as usual, and Stratum never debits your exchange balance.
Is there a free tier or minimum balance to start?
There is no permanent free tier, but the 14-day trial plus backtests and paper mode let you evaluate Stratum at no cost. To lend for real you mainly need to clear Bitfinex’s own minimum funding offer of roughly $150; Stratum itself starts at $9/mo on Starter, so even small lenders can automate profitably.
